country road on a hill

14 Apr

the wind has no color here,
just a knock out jig
and there go bulbs of hallmark beacon,
shattered gurus
laid down as plain highway dashes.

convoys and the ark roll unnoticed
tongue swipers of dust
working up a thirst
for later that night,
at the let it all out corral.
