a town called no big deal

18 Aug

Words come and go with no ribbon cutting ceremonies or bagpipe dirges.
We should throw words like”love hate great greatest worse worst” into a bonfire.
People might feel less scared and not so competitive and serious.
The universe might get laxative loose and spit out new galaxies,
instead of reshaping old ones with words in a different order.

      Dull (Perthshire).

In Wikipedia, Dull (Perthshire) is paired with Boring, Oregon It’s apparently “in an effort to promote tourism in both places.” But Boring already has the oldest guide dog training program in the country and Dull has its highlands, River Tay and deer filled woods. If I ever visit either place, I’m planning to write an ode about them. But first I want to hang out in Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha! There is apparently a convenient store in town with two indoor park benches. Stay tuned.
