superhuman one big mind

28 Dec

i remember phone booths.
there’s a few remaining.
walking is acupuncture to feet, soul and spine.
ideas and words reshuffle in sudden bursts.
to the last of the phone booths i go,
scribbling away.
time told by frost bite.
no cover charges,
no private,
no fancy cafe readings,
no bullshit agents and marketing.
i share my words with street strangers,
over shoot the shit in break rooms at work.
i don’t own any of this.

No cover charges, but once you get inside the phone booth, if you wanna make a call, you’ve gotta put the coins in!

I don’t know about anybody else, but i just use the few remaining phone booths for the phone’s flat top to scribble shit down and duck out from the cold wind.

The walking as acupuncture bit is very imaginative. I’d imagine dry needling is more like teleportation. A few seconds of wiggling, and you’re good to go.

I completely lack that kind of bravery and will have to wait for the video to download.

Using a phone booth is probably the only remaining activity with a phone that you have to dress for.

nudity is luke warm and more often too cool, especially where there’s wind and indoor drafts. i prefer underpants and socks and layers.
