beast of the field

a cow sits in parlor recline
waving its tail like a drunk antennae
it has a bell around its neck.
i think of the cheese and milk and music it makes
what a wonderful relative!

Steve, I read it about one minute after it arrived in my e-mail, and at first, “parlor” was spelled “parlour”, as in the way they would spell it in Canada, I guess. I looked again ten minutes later, and it said “parlor”. Well, which is it? Are you American or Canadian?
